Hebrews 12: 3: For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

There will be trials, persecution, and suffering for believers. There will be a uniting of every religion together against the Lord’s true church.  But when you find yourself becoming weary in the race, the Spirit of God consider our Redeemer. Let us run the race set before us looking to Christ in faith for justification from all our sins, for righteousness, for sanctification, for redemption, for preservation, for strength, for eternal glorification, yes, for all things. As we consider Christ and all that he suffered to give us these blessings remember that Christ received the prize and we have and shall receive the same in him. “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.” (1 Cor 9: 24) Paul said, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Php 3: 14) Be always considering Christ, remembering, “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” (Ps 23: 3-6) Christ said, "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne." (Rev 3:21.)
