WE OFFEND ALL
James 3: 2
First, when we exalt ourselves in such a haughty manner as to take upon ourselves what only the Master can effect in spirit and in truth, it is an offense toward all in the Godhead, even our Savior. (See verse 1.) Brethren, one is our Father; one is our Master even Christ Jesus the Son of God; the Holy Spirit works obedience in the heart, not by our strength, but through the word of truth (Romans 14:4; James 4: 11, 12.) Secondly, we must remember that in all that we do, we are yet sinners. We must always consider that we need mercy from God continually ourselves. (Galatians 6:1.) Let us therefore deal mercifully with our brethren.
