Romans 8: 29: For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son,
that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
The chief reason God chose a people to save is not for us
but for his Son, “that he might be the
firstborn among many brethren”, “that
in all things he might have the
preeminence.” (Rom 8: 29; Col 1: 18)
Sinner, if you reject the gospel of unmerited grace you reject Christ
having the glory as the Firstborn. Satan and a host of angels tried that and
