BETTER TO BE PRUNED
No believer
enjoys the suffering that comes with trials which our sovereign Savior
sends. But our Savior said, “Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he
taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may
bring forth more fruit.” (Jn 15: 2) As John Trapp said, “Better to be
pruned to grow than cut up to be burned.”
